Since the very beginning, Bigjigs Toys has been a proud family-run business with a passion for designing toys that spark children’s curiosity and imagination. In the early days, founders Liz and Peter Ireland worked from their garden shed making jigsaw puzzles from old floorboards!
40 years later, Bigjigs now has a huge collection of award-winning toys which are sold in over 100 countries around the world. All Bigjigs Toys products are lovingly designed in the UK and thoughtfully crafted to support children’s development through fun, exploration and learning.
In July 2024, Bigjigs Toys acquired esteemed jigsaw brand, The House of Puzzles. This momentous move marks the beginning of a new era for the company as it expands into the cardboard jigsaw category with an impressive range of 350+ puzzles for both adults and children.
Celebrated for its artist-illustrated designs and exceptional craftsmanship, The House of Puzzles brand complements Bigjigs Toys’ diverse collection of premium quality playthings for kids and big kids alike!
In January 2025, Bigjigs Toys expanded further and acquired Fiesta Crafts; renowned for its imaginative kids art and craft sets. Since launching in 1990, Fiesta Crafts has won multiple awards for its innovative craft kits for kids. From 3D construction puzzles to clay modelling, Fiesta Crafts is a welcome addition to the Bigjigs Toys brand!
