Darach offers a functional and beautiful range of sustainable furniture and gift items, hand made from spent oak whisky casks.
From gorgeous tableware to chairs, benches, lamps and much more, we have something to suit all tastes and budgets. Darach is the Gaelic word for “oak”, and we are proud to express our Highland heritage in our company name.
We try to maintain the character of the oak, incorporating where appropriate any scars, fissures and other rustic features of the original cask. Just as every stave, lid and ring is different, no two Darach pieces are ever the same.
Most of our work is sold via trade customers and over the last 12 years or so we have built up a loyal and supportive family of stockists who appreciate the quality of our work and our customer service and share our passion.
We are looking forward to introducing our stunning collection of whisky barrel products to a new audience in Manchester in July.
