Darach is Gaelic for "oak" and appropriately we make beautiful and functional furniture and smaller gift items from spent oak whisky casks. We are a small family run company and have been regulars at the Trade Fair for the last 12 years. Darach started as a hobby, working from our garage at home, but as business grew so did the need for space, and we now operate from our workshop, close to the Caledonian Canal, in Inverness. Our loyal band of stockists is very important to us. Most of our work is sold via trade customers - we don't generally sell direct ourselves - so Scotland's Trade Fair features very strongly in our calendar. We are very much looking forward to the January 2025 Trade Fair to catch up with existing customers, meet new ones and to show off the new pieces we have been working on over the last few months.
