EARTH.er is an independent Glasgow-based brand specializing in travel bags crafted from an ancient, ethical, and sustainable material: hemp.
The name EARTH.er reflects our belief that we are all living beings sharing the same planet—equal and interconnected.
We design all our own satchels, lovingly made in our small fair-trade, family-run workshop in Kathmandu, Nepal. Every one to two years, we travel to Nepal to spend time with our makers—bringing new designs, teaching new techniques, and learning from one another. During our visits, we live, work, and share meals together. We are, truly, like family.
From harvesting to hand-weaving, every element of our bags is shaped by human hands and gifted by nature. Because resources in Nepal are limited, our products are crafted through a cooperative process between Nepal and Scotland.
We believe that human beings and the Earth are deeply connected. Our mission is to help people learn, appreciate, and be grateful for everything Mother Earth offers—without causing harm in return.
