Based in rural Northumberland, Clare Edwin is the designer and maker behind jewellery brand LollaMac. She specialises in sterling silver and mixed metal jewellery, handcrafting each piece individually. Formerly an engineer turned maths teacher, Clare came to jewellery making in 2016. She is largely self-taught, and takes great satisfaction in using traditional tools and techniques to create texture and form, thus transforming an unassuming piece of metal into wearable art. The landscape surrounding her studio in the North Pennines provides Clare with much of her inspiration and lends itself perfectly to the earthy metal tones which feature so heavily in her work. With its understated style and signature combinations of sterling silver, copper and brass, the LollaMac collection contains a range of pieces that can be easily mixed and matched for any occasion.
