The Art File are absolutely delighted to be working with the historic and iconic English Heritage on an exciting new major license. Using a range of detailed finishes including textured foil , multi level embossing, and Sculptured embossing, along with being printed on a high quality 280GSM imported board set in a larger square card format , gives a suitable pallet to compliment the contemporary design style and content, which has been gathered from historic English Heritage sites around the country.' Each design has been provenanced with the specific area of the estate it has been inspired by, giving real substance to the design itself, and printed on the back of each card to further inform both the sender and receiver. These 16 stunning designs are sure to turn the heads of even the most discerning of greeting card shoppers.
Samantha Porter, part of The Art File's multi award winning design team who worked on this project shared her thoughts, ' Delving into the English heritage project was like wandering through a treasure trove of history, discovering enchanting stories intricately woven into the tapestry of our past.'
In overcoming our initial trepidation, we have emerged with a collection that we truly love and believe in.
Alongside the new designs, The Art File have also launched a branded English Heritage Corner Clasp, making the card plastic free and completely recyclable.
The 16 designs launched at PG Live is just the start for The Art File and English Heritage, with further greeting card and gift packaging designs planned for launch later on in 2023 going into 2024.
English Heritage is an organization dedicated to upkeeping and preserving the history and story of England alive for future generations to explore and study; and The Art File are extremely proud to be a part of that.
