This delicate, yet edgy, design is based upon the angular forms of mountains as they rise from the land — imitating the story of Beira who hits her hammer on the ground to turn the dirt into iron and force the mountains to rise. The earring drop is designed to look like a reflection of the mountain as if mirrored in a loch.
The original pieces are hand-carved in wax and re-created to be cast in recycled sterling silver using the traditional art of lost wax casting. Each element of these drop earrings is hand-assembled before it is highly polished, to bring shine, even to the most casual summer outfit.
