The Machair is a strip of low-lying fertile land that is cultivated and grazed by cattle and sheep belonging to the Hebridean crofter. It’s an entirely unique habitat that clings to our coastline and comes to full bloom in the summer months, turning the Machair into a kaleidoscope of beautiful and rare flowers
The wild angelica root is mindfully harvested from the Machair and used in our recipe with other island botanicals to create a slightly sweet and refreshing taste. One sip and you’ll be transported to the Machair, surrounded by buzzing bees, blooming flowers, and singing birds up in our home of the Outer Hebrides.
Bottled unfiltered at 46% for an oilier texture.
