Molucca Rum

Our rum is inspired by the Molucca bean, or “sea heart.” Beginning its journey in the Caribbean, it falls from the vine into the sea and drifts all the way to the shores of the Outer Hebrides. Lightweight and heart shaped, the bean washes up on the beach tangled in seaweed, bringing a bit of the Caribbean to the Scottish Isles.

Molucca rum is crafted as a premium spirit, a complex and pleasant drink to enjoy by itself, or served mixed. Blended to our founder’s specification, the golden rum delivers a rich, warming character with a caramel finish. You can taste the heart behind every sip.

Bottled unfiltered at 46% for a fuller flavour and long finish.
