Small Standing Thistle

Designed by All Fired Up and handmade in the UK by Tim Fowler Designs.
Keeping in with a truley Scottish theme, some of the component parts of the thistle are sourced from Scotland, with the whiskey barrels used for the bases being sourced from a distillary, they're recycled when they've reached the end of their useful life, the tin plated copper wire is sourced from the oils rigs of the Scottish oil fields and is used for the thistle head.
Originally designed by Aldona of 'All fired up' after her retirement she gifted me the rights to continue making and designing a new era of Scottish thistles. While still being faithful to Aldona's vision, I have added my own spin on the original designs, they now sit on a whiskey barrel base with Tim Fowler flourish on the twists and turns of the stems leaves and petals.
This is an example of the small single thistle, and they typically measure ........ with each one being handmade, the measurements of each thistle will vary within a few millimeters.
The thisltes are all handmade, each component part is sourced within the British Isles, incorporating recycled components in each design. Handmade designs means that each thistle has it's unique appearance, with something different in each twist and turn of the stem to the curl of the leaves and petals.
