Hashi by Style of Japan alludes to the symbolism of chopsticks in Japan. “Hashi” can mean “chopsticks” but also “bridge” - a symbolic connection between earth and the spiritual realm. Tapered at both ends, Hashi are ryokuchi-style chopsticks, their pointed tips inviting the power of gods in one end to flow to the diner at the other. In Japan, they are popular for entertaining and serving kaiseki course meals and sushi.
